Job Summary

The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is seeking a dedicated Security Technician to join their team in Wiesbaden. This role is crucial for the network-technical support, implementation, and continuous development of security technology within the BKA. Day-to-day responsibilities include the network-technical maintenance of security systems, including video technology, intrusion detection systems, voice alarm systems, and security management systems. The technician will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing system structures according to strict security standards (including VDE, VdS, and BSI guidelines) and advancing systemic security technology standards. The ideal candidate must hold a university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in a MINT field such as System Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, and ideally bring several years of professional experience in network-technical support for security installations.
