Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Service Technician focusing on network and communication technologies within the IT and telecommunications sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting diverse projects, setting up and commissioning technical systems in data centers and transport networks, and integrating optical transmission technology into existing network infrastructures. A core part of the job involves executing tests, maintenance, and troubleshooting on managed systems, ensuring all processes are meticulously documented. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an IT System Electronics Technician or equivalent, possesses professional experience in telecommunications and network technology, and ideally has experience with fiber optic splicing and cabling. This position requires extensive (80%) nationwide travel, primarily Monday through Friday, making strong technical understanding, excellent German language skills, and a high degree of flexibility essential. The role offers a permanent contract, a company car, and attractive travel allowances.
