Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Laboratory Technician to join an international pharmaceutical company specializing in formulation development at their production site in Oberbaselbiet. You will play a crucial role in the development of innovative pharmaceutical dosage forms, focusing on practical lab work related to solid, liquid, and semi-solid formulations (oral, topical, rectal). Key responsibilities include conducting physical analyses such as particle size determination (NanoSizer, CamSizer), microscopy, rheology, and thermal analysis (DSC), alongside performing dissolution and disintegration tests. You will be responsible for drafting technical reports and manufacturing instructions (Batch Records), supporting scale-up and technology transfer activities, and ensuring laboratory equipment maintenance and compliance with strict safety and quality standards (SOPs). The ideal candidate must possess at least three years of professional experience in galenic development, particularly with capsules and tablets, and demonstrate high motivation, independence, and strong teamwork skills. Excellent German and good English language skills are essential for success in this role.
