Job Summary

This role is a key innovation driver within Engine Services, focusing on digital products and offerings. The specialist will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and integrating engine-specific data from diverse sources into the central data pool. Day-to-day tasks involve developing sophisticated Data Products, creating detailed requirement specifications, and providing strategic advice to management. A core function is investigating the root causes of engine damage, applying Big Data and Predictive Analytics methodologies, and optimizing reporting processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in fields like Mathematics or Business Informatics, coupled with deep expertise in Data Engineering, particularly Azure Synapse Analytics, and statistical data analysis. You will also be expected to prepare presentations, manage special assignments, and contribute to project work, ultimately enhancing the innovative capabilities of the Lufthansa Technik Group.
