Job Summary

This fixed-term position as a Chemistry Specialist focuses on ensuring stringent water quality management within the State Dam Administration (LTV) in Saxony. The core responsibilities involve implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System according to the ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard within the accredited testing laboratory. Daily tasks include conducting water sampling on both flowing and standing bodies of water, performing detailed chemical analyses using German standard methods (Deutsche Einheitsverfahren), and overseeing the monitoring and data evaluation of Automatic Measuring Stations for Water Quality (AMB). Candidates must hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification, coupled with practical experience in 17025 Quality Management and water chemistry analytics.
