Job Summary

The Models Railway Group, a market leader in the European model railway sector, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their Digital department. This role is crucial for developing future-oriented products, requiring the ability to independently design and implement embedded software solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include programming MCU-supported microelectronics systems using C, developing PC tools for hardware configuration and updates, managing technical aspects of embedded software projects, and executing integration and compatibility tests. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in programming ARM Cortex-based MCU systems and Windows applications, coupled with expertise in embedded operating systems like CoOS and FreeRTOS. This position offers an innovative environment, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work remotely up to 100 days per year, contributing directly to the digital evolution of high-precision model railways.
