Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Administrator specializing in Networks and Security within a traditional Saxon mechanical engineering company based in Dresden, which focuses on manufacturing couplings for high-speed trains, wind turbines, and industrial machinery. The administrator will be responsible for the continuous operation, documentation, and development of the company's operational IT network, including both passive and active components. Key tasks involve administering hardware and software using a Unified Endpoint Management system, maintaining Active Directory and Windows environments, and managing ERP/MES/PPS systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant vocational training, coupled with several years of professional experience, particularly in network and IT security.
