Job Summary

This role is for an Analytical Chemist Scientist to support a world leader in ophthalmology, based in Großwallstadt. The core responsibilities involve conducting various analytical measurements, including titrations, Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and contact angle measurements. A significant part of the job includes developing and optimizing new analytical measurement methods for characterizing contact lenses, intermediates, and raw materials. The successful candidate will also assist in the qualification and validation of processes and methods. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, or possess relevant professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician. Experience within the medical technology sector is desirable, alongside strong quality awareness and good written and spoken English skills.
