Job Summary

This role involves leading and executing international product development projects focused on industrial applications, serving as the primary technical expert and liaison between development, production, and customers. Day-to-day tasks include interdisciplinary collaboration with R&D, production, sales, and external partners, specifically focusing on products for the glass industry, forming technology, and security/defense sectors. Key responsibilities also cover coordinating prototype manufacturing, product transitions, and new product qualification, alongside systematic competence building in materials, manufacturing technologies, and patent monitoring. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science/Engineering with several years of relevant professional experience, ideally possessing knowledge in metallurgy, refractory metals, and coating technology. Strong project management skills, a high degree of target orientation, and excellent communication skills in both German and English are essential for success in this multinational environment.
