Job Summary

This critical role within the Strategic IT Group Management of ÖBB involves establishing, developing, and implementing a robust, transparent, and auditable IT Governance Framework across the entire corporation. The manager will ensure compliance, quality, and traceability in all IT policies and processes, contributing significantly to a secure and future-proof IT organization. Day-to-day tasks include actively supporting the IT transformation, defining clear responsibilities and decision paths within governance structures, and translating emerging technological and regulatory requirements (such as NIS2, DORA, GDPR, AI Governance, and Cloud Compliance) into concrete framework updates. The role requires building integrated policy management and driving collaboration with Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, and Information Security to address governance risks proactively. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Informatics or Business Informatics and multi-year experience in IT Governance or Compliance, coupled with strong analytical skills and knowledge of key standards.

Experience

  • Multiple years of experience in IT Governance, IT Compliance, or Policy Management
  • Professional experience, ideally in a corporate group environment
