Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester, primarily responsible for independently conducting mechanical-technological and, where applicable, non-destructive material testing. Key daily tasks include ensuring strict adherence to all relevant standards and safety regulations, performing associated activities such as calibrating testing machines, controlling sample dimensions, and creating and reviewing test protocols. The successful candidate must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Materials Tester, specific certification for ultrasonic testing (DIN EN ISO 9712), and practical experience with various testing procedures and equipment. Proficiency in using Laboratory Management and Information Systems (LIMS) and common testing software is essential. This position requires reliability, teamwork, and the willingness to work in a 2-shift system, contributing to the maintenance of the laboratory's accreditation.
