Job Summary

This role is for a Data Scientist within IBM Consulting's Client Innovation Center, focusing on solving complex business problems using cutting-edge AI and data science tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, and managing complex data sources, developing scalable data and machine learning pipelines, and implementing predictive and prescriptive models, including modern deep learning approaches like Generative AI. Day-to-day tasks involve utilizing tools such as Python, R, and TensorFlow, collaborating in an agile environment with cross-functional teams, and communicating complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred)

Experience

  • Solid knowledge in Data science and related tools and technologies (Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Transformers)
  • Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (R, Python, Scala, SAS, SPSS, Matlab)
  • Solid understanding of and experience with predictive/prescriptive modelling skills
  • Solid hands-on experience in AI practices, machine learning, natural language processing, and AI in BPM
  • Experience leading AI-driven analysis, automation, and integration of AI features (e.g., Signavio Text-to-Process)
  • Experience with programming/scripting in a language such as Java or Python
