Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive IT support and management within a traditional pharmaceutical company specializing in automated production and innovative packaging. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining high IT security standards, including managing firewalls, VPNs, and security/virus scanner solutions. Key day-to-day tasks include managing backend IT server systems, specifically focusing on VMWare virtualization, backup/data systems, Active Directory, M365, and Citrix platforms. The specialist will also handle network and SAN management, provide L2/L3 end-user support across all departments (including production and laboratory), and lead or participate in IT projects. The ideal candidate possesses a completed qualification in IT system integration or equivalent, coupled with several years of practical experience, especially in IT security, Microsoft environments, and network administration. Good proficiency in both German and English is required, making this an excellent opportunity to apply broad IT infrastructure skills in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
