This role is with an established, international, owner-managed software company in Munich, focusing on innovative After-Sales solutions. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes. A core part of the job involves collaborating on building and enhancing a modern MLOps infrastructure for monitoring, deploying, and managing AI/ML components. You will drive the development of products based on Machine Learning and Generative AI, evaluate new technologies (GenAI, Cloud, Data Platforms), and create high-quality data products and reports. The ideal candidate brings several years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Development within a Big Data environment, strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Java, and practical experience integrating AI/GenAI services into production systems.
