Job Summary

This role involves working within a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team focused on the planning, setup, and integration of modern Media-over-IP (MoIP) systems for a major German broadcaster. The engineer will be responsible for integrating new devices, systems, and standards, specifically focusing on technologies like SMPTE ST 2110 and AES67, with the goal of establishing cutting-edge production methods. Key responsibilities include contributing to workflow development, refining technical concepts, and implementing pilot projects and prototypes to evaluate new technologies. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in media technology or computer science, possesses foundational knowledge of broadcast technologies, and ideally has basic experience with network concepts (VLAN, Multicast, Routing), REST-APIs, and container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
