Life Science Engineer | Ingenieur Life-Science (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Life Science Engineer or Physicist eager to contribute to the development of sophisticated products across medical technology, laboratory technology, measurement technology, and sensor technology. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing physical concepts and solutions, with a strong focus on optics, light guidance, optical sensor technology, and spectroscopy. The engineer will plan, execute, evaluate, and document experimental studies and measurement campaigns, support the creation of customer-specific applications, and ensure technical requirements are met within interdisciplinary teams. A core function includes creating technical documentation, conducting risk-based assessments, and optimizing development and testing processes in collaboration with production and quality assurance. This position requires a degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable technical/natural science field, excellent analytical skills, and fluency in both German and English (C1 level).
