Job Summary
This exciting opportunity as an IT Application Manager involves taking full responsibility for the operational stability and lifecycle management of specialized business applications for key clients. Day-to-day tasks include managing the entire application environment, encompassing testing, release management (upgrades and updates), change control, and proactive problem management. A critical component of the role is providing 2nd-level support, conducting thorough fault analysis, and offering viable solution alternatives to key users and specialized departments. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance and security by coordinating closely with the Security team regarding certificates and Identity and Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate holds a degree in (Business) Informatics or possesses strong, relevant IT training and demonstrable professional experience in Application Management. A self-reliant, goal-oriented work ethic and excellent fluency in German (C1 level) are mandatory for success in this client-facing and technical management role.
