Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing complex software development projects specifically within the automotive sector for leading OEMs and suppliers. The Automotive Software Project Manager is responsible for the full project lifecycle, including planning, control, and monitoring of software initiatives. Key daily tasks include coordinating team efforts, efficiently allocating resources, developing and maintaining project and timelines, and performing active risk analysis and management. A critical component of the role is ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards, such as Automotive SPICE. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possesses professional experience as a sub-project manager in automotive software development, and is proficient with tools like Jira, DOORS, AUTOSAR, and MS Project. Strong German and English communication skills are essential for moderating meetings and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
