Job Summary
The ÜSTRA Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe AG, a leading German public transport company, is seeking an engaged leader to take on the role of IT Team Lead for Server Infrastructure. This critical position involves the comprehensive technical and disciplinary leadership of an eight-person team, focusing on the operation and continuous development of the entire data center, server, virtualization, storage, backup, and database systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring stability, high availability, and IT security across complex IT infrastructures, while also managing resources, prioritizing projects, introducing new technologies, and overseeing external service providers and budget allocation. This role requires proven professional experience in the IT environment, strong technical knowledge in data center operations, and a solution-oriented, communicative leadership style, offering the chance to shape the future of public transport in Hannover.

University degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable, or IT vocational training with additional qualification
Experience
