Job Summary
The Theater Lüneburg, a multi-genre house with a €13 million budget, is seeking an Administrative Managing Director to partner with the Artistic Director in leading the organization through a critical transformation phase. This executive role demands strategic oversight of all commercial and administrative functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive business planning, financial steering, and managing the non-artistic staff (approximately 200 employees). The Director will oversee finance, payroll, HR administration, box office operations, and building management in collaboration with the Technical Director. Key requirements include a completed degree in Economics or Administrative Sciences and proven multi-year professional experience in financial accounting and leadership within a cultural institution. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, entrepreneurial, and negotiation skills, particularly regarding collective bargaining agreements and political committees.
