Job Summary
This role involves managing all aspects of corporate taxation for a major insurance group in Mannheim. The specialist will be responsible for tax calculations, preparing various tax returns—including insurance tax, fire protection tax, foreign insurance tax, and VAT pre-registrations—in collaboration with external tax consultants. Key duties also include assisting with tax audits, handling capital gains tax reporting, and supporting colleagues with individual and consolidated financial statements. The ideal candidate must have a background as a Tax Clerk, possess at least three years of experience in financial accounting and preparing annual financial statements (HGB/Tax Law), and demonstrate strong knowledge of current German tax law and the Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung).
