Job Summary

This role is a crucial IT Infrastructure and Virtualization Engineer position supporting AIRBUS Secure Land Communications in Ulm. The primary focus involves the analysis, reproduction, and documentation of reported errors (bug tickets) within server and virtualization environments. You will be instrumental in collaborating closely with development, system engineering, and quality assurance teams to evaluate defects and ensure system integrity. Key responsibilities also include creating and executing test cases based on system requirements, maintaining and developing IT server virtualization environments, and supporting overall IT infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, possesses professional experience in server infrastructure and virtualization systems, and is proficient in tools like VMWare, RedHat, Confluence, Jira, and Xray, alongside fluent German and English skills.
