Job Summary
This role involves working on a collaborative research project with the AI Campus, focusing on developing and integrating digital learning tools to enhance AI competencies in higher education. The primary responsibilities include the administration and technical advancement of the AI Campus Moodle instances, ensuring the responsible integration of AI systems. Day-to-day tasks involve technical concept creation, optimizing interfaces like LTI and Single Sign-on (SSO), and developing/integrating innovative AI applications and learning assistants. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, possesses strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP), database solutions (MariaDB, MySQL, etc.), and practical experience with Learning Management Systems, preferably Moodle. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge educational technology and data ethics in a university setting.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Practical experience in operating and administering a common Learning Management System (preferably Moodle)
- Practical experience with relevant database solutions and data modeling/integration
- Experience in handling common operating systems (Windows and Linux)
- Experience in data ethics and the trustworthy use of learning technologies (Desirable)
- Experience and knowledge in project and data management (Desirable)

- The position is full-time (39.83 hours per week) and limited until March 31, 2029. Work locations are Hagen (FernUniversität in Hagen) and/or Berlin (AI-Campus).
