The Working Student will primarily assist the Central GIS Coordination Office by analyzing the availability of spatial data, ensuring compliance with legal GIS requirements, and supporting the migration from ArcGIS Desktop to ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise. Key tasks involve data preparation, metadata maintenance, evaluating the use of satellite imagery, and developing pilot applications to demonstrate GIS potential within the regional administration. Candidates should be Master's students in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, Geography, or Spatial Planning, possessing experience with GIS software like ArcGIS and QGIS. This position provides invaluable hands-on experience in governmental GIS deployment, flexible hours (max 12 per week), and the chance to build a professional network while applying academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

Required Skills

Education

Master's student in Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Geography, Spatial Planning, or comparable studies with a focus on Geosciences, including links to Legal, Environmental, and Social Sciences.
