Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated IT Support Specialist focused on providing 2nd-Level technical assistance within the Viersen District administration, supporting over 1,300 IT workstations and multiple external locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include the analysis, processing, and resolution of complex technical disruption reports and service requests, providing critical support to the 1st-Level team, and managing the installation and configuration of essential hardware and software components. The specialist will also participate actively in IT projects related to support, specialized software, and hardware procurement. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Application Development) and several years of professional IT support experience.
