Job Summary
The SKZ, a leading group in plastics services, is seeking a Research Associate specializing in Thermal Joining Technologies. This role involves developing research concepts, applying for, leading, and executing publicly funded research projects focused on thermal joining and polymer material analysis, often in collaboration with internal and external research groups. Day-to-day tasks include planning and supervising laboratory and technical center experiments, managing bilateral development and consulting projects with industrial partners, and effectively disseminating research findings through national and international publications and presentations. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering (e.g., Materials Science, Plastics Engineering) and possesses proven experience in drafting research proposals and managing public projects. This position requires a structured, highly motivated individual with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering (e.g., Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Plastics Engineering). Doctorate/PhD in Natural Sciences or Engineering is advantageous.
Experience
