Job Summary

This role involves leading the environmental planning and approval processes for substation projects in the North region of Germany, primarily under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). The Sub-Project Lead will actively shape the technical conceptualization of projects, manage the tendering, commissioning, and quality assurance of external environmental service providers for expert reports, and coordinate closely with relevant authorities to ensure project approval and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing operational permitting, monitoring regulatory requirements (such as AwSV), and coordinating water protection inspections. This position is crucial for driving the energy transition by ensuring TenneT's infrastructure projects meet all environmental and legal standards, requiring strong environmental law knowledge and project management skills.
