Job Summary

This challenging and varied role involves driving the standardization and digitalization of public transport sales (ÖPNV-Vertrieb) across North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and Germany, working within one of Europe’s largest transport associations. The specialist will lead implementation and innovation projects, focusing on optimizing business processes from a business management perspective and conducting fundamental analyses regarding digital sales strategies and new mobility concepts. A core function is consulting transport companies, ministries, and industry partners on system expansion, tendering processes, and standard development. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, coupled with relevant professional experience. Key technical knowledge includes familiarity with software development processes, APIs, frameworks, and the architecture of heterogeneous systems. Success requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a willingness to travel to effectively manage complex stakeholder processes and political structures within the mobility sector.
