Job Summary
Sanofi is seeking an Operational Process Control Systems Engineer to join the FBC Engineering API team in Frankfurt, supporting the technical infrastructure of insulin production. This critical role involves the maintenance, optimization, planning, and expansion of production facilities, cleanrooms, and associated electrical systems (PLT/EMSR). The engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal and uninterrupted production of active pharmaceutical ingredients by providing compliant, future-oriented Process Control Technology infrastructure, including measurement, regulation, and safety systems. Key responsibilities include coordinating specialized groups and external contractors, implementing new requirements (like Biologics Standards), conducting GMP-compliant plant qualification, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Success requires a strong background in pharmaceutical compliance (cGMP), technical project leadership, and experience in biotechnical processes, specifically sterile technology.
Required Skills
Education
Engineering degree (University or Technical College) in Electrical, Process Control Technology, or Measurement Technology
Experience
- Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams with high social competence
- Experience in managing technical projects, qualification, and operational support in pharmaceutical active ingredients
- Professional experience in biotechnical processes, preferably involving sterile technology
Languages
Additional
- Adherence to laws, ordinances, standards, guidelines, and requirements of regulatory authorities; Knowledge of legal and technical operating conditions.
