Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Administrator specializing in IT Infrastructure to join a dynamic service company in Weiterstadt. Day-to-day responsibilities include the comprehensive administration and maintenance of the core IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, networks, and virtualization environments. Key tasks involve the installation and configuration of Windows and Linux systems, managing critical platforms like Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and virtualization tools such as Citrix XEN and Proxmox. The role also requires ensuring IT security, performing backups, optimizing system performance, and providing 2nd-Level Support for internal and external clients. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) and brings professional experience in system administration, coupled with strong knowledge of server operating systems and networking.
