Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the functionality and safety of Germany's vital highway infrastructure by providing expert surveying services within the Südbayern branch in Kempten. The Surveying Engineer will be responsible for preparing documentation for traffic and environmentally compliant road planning, conducting construction-preparatory surveys, and assessing existing surveying data to determine the need for further measurements. A key part of the job includes selecting appropriate procedures and equipment based on terrain requirements, creating digital terrain models using CAD, and managing external surveying service providers. This position requires a degree in Geodesy or Geoinformatics, solid practical experience in surveying, and knowledge of relevant German technical regulations (RAS, ZTV-Verm., ZTV-ING). The ideal candidate is highly communicative, reliable, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team to shape the future of the Autobahn.
