Job Summary

This pivotal role as Head of System Management involves leading an engaged team of application owners and taking strategic and technical responsibility for the operation and continuous development of the company's central application landscape, including core ERP and reinsurance systems. Day-to-day tasks include team leadership, resource and budget planning, steering strategic digitalization projects, ensuring stable technical operations, and advancing the Data Governance culture. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in IT, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field, coupled with significant experience in managing and evolving specialized technical architectures (both standard and custom software). Success requires proven leadership experience in teams or projects, strong organizational skills, business understanding, and expertise in various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Classic). This position offers substantial creative freedom to drive technical innovation within an internationally active reinsurance firm, supported by flexible working hours and up to 60% mobile work.
