Job Summary

This role is for a Project Engineer specializing in Communication Systems, working actively on the planning and development of new and existing systems for passenger information, ticket sales, communication technology, and networks within a major public transport operator in Nuremberg. The successful candidate will independently plan, analyze, and advance communication systems within various projects, often taking on (sub-)project leadership responsibilities. Key tasks include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, drafting project reports, preparing service specifications and tender documents, conducting bid evaluations, and participating in negotiations and contract awards. The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, experience in technical conception, system integration, and project work, ideally with prior project leadership experience, and proficiency in English.
