Job Summary
This Senior DATEV Support Expert role involves managing, operating, and maintaining the IT infrastructure and technologies related to the business-critical DATEV application suite across multiple German locations. The core responsibilities include daily support activities, focusing heavily on ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management, along with necessary documentation. The expert will collaborate with national and international teams to ensure application stability and scalability, implement the application roadmap (including installation and upgrades), and proactively respond to system alerts. A key component of the role is direct vendor collaboration for maintenance and improvement, alongside providing approximately 20% direct DATEV end-user support. The ideal candidate requires extensive DATEV knowledge, proficiency in IT infrastructure, experience in service and project management, and strong German and English language skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, such as a Tax Clerk or comparable qualification (desirable)
Experience
- Minimum three years of experience in operational application support
- Extensive knowledge of DATEV applications
- Professional experience in Service and Project Management
- Experience coordinating international teams and team leadership
