Job Summary

This role is for a Test Field Technician specializing in coupling technology, based in Erlangen. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing comprehensive tests according to technical instructions and industry standards, performing complex system integration across electrical, mechanical, software, and measurement technology domains, and installing customer-specific software configurations. A key aspect of the job is the independent diagnosis of technical correlations, allowing for proactive problem anticipation and rapid resolution. The technician will also provide crucial technical support during customer acceptance tests and oversee the preparation and setup of systems for shipment. Candidates must hold a completed technical qualification, such as an Electrician or Electronics Technician certification followed by further training as a Technician specializing in Energy, Communications, or Data Processing Technology. Basic knowledge of PLC systems is also required, alongside a highly independent and safety-conscious work ethic.
