Job Summary

This role involves providing specialized 2nd Level support, administration, and maintenance for complex Windows and/or Linux server environments and associated IT infrastructure. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues within network and server systems, collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd Level support teams to manage escalations and implement new technologies. Key duties include optimizing system performance using monitoring tools, implementing security policies (including EDR and Firewall management), and contributing to IT projects such as migrations, rollouts, and automation initiatives using scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet), and collaboration solutions (Office365, MS Teams), and is committed to continuous professional development and process documentation.
