Job Summary
This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional specializing in Windows and/or Linux environments who excels in 2nd Level Support. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and maintenance of server systems, deep-dive analysis and resolution of technical faults within the IT infrastructure, including networking and server architectures, and supporting the planning and implementation of system enhancements. The specialist will also collaborate closely with 1st and 3rd Level Support teams, focusing on efficient escalation and complex problem solving. Key requirements include current expertise in Windows and Linux OS, experience with network infrastructures, and knowledge of collaboration tools like Office 365 and MS Teams. This position is attractive due to its focus on modern technologies, involvement in large-scale migration and automation projects, and the security of a permanent contract in a growing company, requiring strong German language skills (C1 minimum) and a willingness to travel for projects.
