Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in power generation and distribution, including combined heat and power (co-generation) plants, within a leading global semiconductor manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, defining, overseeing, and coordinating all electrical engineering and construction activities at the site. Key responsibilities include ensuring constant uptime of all electrical systems, managing complex Brownfield projects from scope development to close-out, and reviewing and optimizing existing electrical documentation and design specifications. You will work closely with operations, maintenance, and design teams to ensure new and modified systems meet operational needs and maintainability standards, while strictly adhering to all regulatory compliance and safety protocols. This position requires a minimum of seven years of relevant experience and fluency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years relevant work experience
  • Experience in the engineering, installation, operation, commissioning, and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment and distribution systems
  • Experience with co-generation power plants
  • Experience with Brownfield projects (Umbauprojekten in laufenden Anlagen)
