Job Summary

This role involves taking charge of the preparation and execution of monthly payroll and salary accounting within a globally operating, independent, medium-sized family company specializing in control valves and actuators. The specialist will act as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding wage tax and social security matters, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Key responsibilities also include maintaining relevant personnel master data, managing timekeeping systems, handling certification and reporting duties, and assisting with monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with the Finance and Accounting department. Candidates should possess a background in tax or commercial accounting, comprehensive knowledge of labor, tax, and social security law, and proficiency with DATEV and MS Office programs. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Tax Specialist, or a commercial apprenticeship with further training as a Payroll Accountant, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in payroll accounting (ideally)
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of labor, tax, and social security law
