Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the industrial-scale manufacturing of biotechnological therapeutic proteins. Day-to-day tasks include filling products and media, adding media under sterile conditions, and performing process-accompanying analyses such as measuring pH values and conductivities. You will operate process-specific systems, including process control systems and Labware, and manage product changeover activities, including the conversion of manual and automated equipment within a strict GMP environment. A critical part of the job is batch documentation following GMP guidelines using electronic manufacturing software. The ideal candidate will have completed vocational training as a Bio Specialist, Production Specialist for Biotechnology/Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technician, Chemical Technician, or possess relevant experience in comparable fields (e.g., brewing, malting, baking) with several years of professional experience, ideally within a GMP setting. This position requires physical fitness for lifting heavy loads (20-30 kg) and a willingness to work staggered shifts, including weekends.
