Job Summary

This Data Engineer role focuses on building a reliable and scalable data foundation to support reporting, operational control, and future Analytics and AI applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring data sources, establishing clean models, and ensuring data generates tangible value—transparently and sustainably. Day-to-day tasks include designing stable ETL/ELT processes, developing small automation services using Python or Node.js/TypeScript, and planning and evolving the Data Warehouse/Lakehouse. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification, very strong SQL skills, and practical experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse) and Power BI.
