This role seeks a proactive Project Manager/Engineer to drive the energy transition by overseeing gas distribution networks and pioneering biogas and hydrogen injection facilities in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg. The successful candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle, focusing on the planning, construction, and operation of modern, climate-friendly network infrastructure. Responsibilities include independently developing concepts for network expansion and renewable gas integration, managing budgets, coordinating contractors, and acting as the site manager to ensure safety and smooth operations. A key aspect involves developing sustainable maintenance concepts and providing expertise during on-call emergency response for network disturbances. Candidates must hold an engineering degree and possess strong technical and analytical skills, proficiency in SAP and MS Office, and a genuine commitment to creating a sustainable, decarbonized energy future.
