This role involves acting as the central point of contact for all payroll and salary matters within a digital law firm specializing in healthcare professions and medium-sized businesses. The Payroll Accountant will independently execute ongoing payroll and salary accounting, ensuring timely and accurate payments that provide security for employees of clients, such as doctors and care facilities. Key responsibilities include addressing client and employee queries regarding payroll tax and social security law, communicating with relevant authorities, and actively optimizing digital processes, particularly using tools like DATEV. The ideal candidate must have a background in tax or commercial fields, proven experience in payroll accounting, strong communication skills, service orientation, and enthusiasm for digital workflows, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
