Job Summary

Join Bosch as a Development Engineer shaping the future of electric mobility by designing innovative gearbox concepts for electric vehicles, from initial idea to series production. In this role, you will develop conceptual designs for complete transmissions, considering various configurations like spur and planetary gears, and auxiliary functions such as shifting and parking locks. A core part of your daily work involves conducting detailed concept analyses to identify cost-optimized layouts, simulating performance metrics including efficiency, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), and load capacity across different operating conditions. You will create precise 2D and 3D layouts, estimate overall size, weight, and cost, and define critical interfaces with other powertrain components. This position requires long-standing professional experience in gearbox development, deep technical expertise in conceptual gearing design and powertrain dynamics, and proficiency with simulation software like Masta, AMESim, and Matlab Simulink. You will work closely with system performance and design teams to ensure seamless integration, making a tangible contribution to sustainable mobility.
