Electronics Technician SMT Production | Elektroniker SMT-Fertigung (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for an Electronics Technician to join the Competence Center Manufacturing Technology (CCMT) in Mannheim, focusing specifically on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production. The technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling of SMT placement machines, as well as conducting quality inspections using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems. Key daily tasks include product-specific machine configuration (solder paste printer, placement machine, reflow oven, AOI) and ensuring quality, quantity, and timely task completion are met. The position involves collaborating closely with the development department during prototype processes and working with international branches to analyze and solve production challenges, requiring strong technical skills, excellent soldering ability, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
