As a License Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the strategic and legally compliant utilization of software licenses for hannIT, a strategic IT partner for the Hannover region's municipal administration. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing contract durations, monitoring budget compliance, conducting detailed cost analyses, and advising specialized departments on product necessity. A key task involves introducing and operating a Software Asset Management (SAM) tool, coordinating external audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and the upcoming AI Act. You will also be responsible for negotiating and legally structuring tenders and contracts for strategic IT licenses. This position requires a university degree in Business Administration, ideally coupled with license management certification and experience using SAM tools. The role demands strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and a high affinity for numbers.
