Job Summary
This role seeks a passionate and creative Teacher for Biology and/or Chemistry to join the DPFA-Regenbogen Secondary School and Grammar School team in Chemnitz. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, conducting, and following up on lessons, focusing on practical, engaging content delivery tailored to students' real-world experiences. Key responsibilities also include individual student support, guidance, and preparation for examinations. Qualifications required include a Master of Education or equivalent state examination (or a relevant Master/Diploma degree for career changers) in the specified subjects. Required Skills
Education
Master of Education (M.Ed.) or equivalent State Examination (II. or I.) for Secondary/Grammar School Teacher in Biology and/or Chemistry; alternatively, an equivalent university degree (Master/Magister/Diploma) in the corresponding field for career changers.
Experience
- Professional experience in teaching or other pedagogical fields (desirable)
- Experience in active participation and shaping of school concepts
