Job Summary

This role is for an IT Administrator to join a growing company that develops the 'appeleon agile environment' product, enabling business analysts to quickly build applications without extensive programming. The administrator will be responsible for the installation and operation of Java applications for internal and customer projects, managing the internal Windows and Linux client/server environments, and administering the network, including firewall and security measures. Key responsibilities also include providing Helpdesk support and continuously improving the existing IT infrastructure and system landscapes. Candidates must possess a completed degree or vocational training in IT Systems Integration, coupled with significant experience managing Java EE/Application Servers (like JBoss, WebSphere), databases (DB2, Oracle, SAP Hana), and various PaaS platforms. Expertise in Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies (VMWare, Docker), and current security practices is essential.
