Job Summary
The City Administration of Soest is seeking an IT System Administrator to join their IT working group, focusing specifically on providing User Help Desk support for schools in Soest. This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term contract. The role involves managing all IT service requests from schools, encompassing logging, documentation in a ticketing system, and independent resolution to ensure service level agreements are met. Key responsibilities include software installation, distribution, administration, and support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and specialized school software. Furthermore, the administrator will handle the infrastructure, including user and client management via iServ, and device administration for Apple products using JAMF. Candidates should possess an IT specialist degree in System Integration or equivalent, along with strong knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems, networking, and hardware, coupled with professional experience in IT support and customer service orientation.
