Job Summary

The Diakonisches Werk, a leading welfare organization, is seeking an Audit Manager to join its Economic Consulting department starting March 1, 2026. This full-time role involves comprehensive management of the audit sector, including organizing the audit area, planning assignments for audit consultants, and preparing audit priorities. The manager will be responsible for overseeing audit execution, conducting critical reviews of annual and business audit reports, and performing independent audits, particularly for outpatient care services. A key part of the role is acting as the primary technical contact for audit consultants and management of audited institutions, while also advising clients on developing their accounting and controlling systems. Candidates must hold a university degree in Economics, Social Law, or Business Law, possess several years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or revision, and demonstrate strong proficiency in relevant IT applications, especially MS Excel. The position requires high commitment, service orientation, and willingness to travel within Baden-Württemberg.
